I know, I know, even the most well organised amongst us can find ourselves stumped…
We had huge fun designing our Halloween displays last month.
Of course pumpkins (both white and orange) were out in force, mingled with ivy and other squashes to make an interesting Autumnal display. But the spooky festivities gave us plenty of opportunity to dig into our huge collection of props and candles to create a creepy atmosphere. You can never have too many skulls, cobwebs and sputtering candles after all!
With our fabulous props and a little imagination we transformed party venues and our Greenwich shop into spine-tingling settings right out of the classic horror films. Cleaning up the wax drips the morning after isn’t so much fun, but we just love the atmosphere created by the candlelight.
As table decorations, pumpkins make the perfect presentation vase for Autumnal bouquets in deep shades of purple, berry red, yellow and orange. All a fabulous warm up for the winter season of course, roll on Christmas decorations and door wreaths!
