Flower workshops are a fun and inspirational way to spend an evening and on Wednesday 24 August Jacqui, the manager of our shop in Greenwich, and I welcomed a group of 11 for a bouquet-tying workshop in the fabulous surroundings of the Guard House in Woolwich.
Over a glass or two of prosecco, the ladies (boys, where were you?) created beautiful hand-tied bouquets using blooms in lovely shades of pink, cream and green. Step by step we helped the group learn some of the most important techniques for creating beautiful, simple arrangements fit to grace any room or make a fabulous gift.

Once the stems were aligned and neatly trimmed, the bouquets were finished off with a flourish of ribbon, tissue and cellophane for a truly professional appearance.
Apart from being tremendous fun to meet everyone, what I love about these workshops is passing on some of our own passion for creating stunning arrangements from naturally beautiful ingredients.
As the festive season approaches we’re planning more workshops including sessions on Christmas wreathes, table centres and the best festive floral arrangements. To be kept up to date on all our events, follow us on Facebook and sign up to our newsletter on our website.
